Eeeny, meeny, miny, moe ... which goes where .... some are for the inside, and some are for the out. If you thought I was eclectic, now you have no doubt.

We had to select all of the lights today in about 1-1/2 hours. This is about 2/3's of the the selection give or take a few. Good thing I scoped out the store yesterday ahead of time ... it's mind boggling but I was prepared with blue prints in hand and a list of what was needed. If not for that, I think it would have taken all day.

Preparation is half the battle. Looks like your winning the battle. Isn't it amazing just how many lights you need? No wonder our electric bills are high! That's a really large home, how fun! Oh, by the way, I grew up in s.cal, the San Fernando valley. I live in Mich. now. I love ca for sentimental reasons but Mi. is home. I know life is much better here. Keep the updates coming!
I loved your comment on my blog about VBS..gave me a chuckle..thanks!

wow, you were from Mich, small world. I see your in human resources...me too! Your husband in the PD, mine the FD. Well, he was till he retired! I live in Wayne Co (southeast Mi.) It's so nice to see the similarities, and like I said, I love your house building blog and I will continue to live vicariously through your experience!

Wow, bg, we lived just one county above Wayne (in Oakland). I grew up in so cal too ... but don't care to ever return ... it's spoiled as in ruined now ... closest I'll come is to No. Cal to see my parents. Had a lovely trip to Mackinac Island about 1-1/2 yrs ago. Stayed at the Grand Hotel (this time). First time to visit we didn't have the $ to stay there and felt like little church mice wanting to peek inside. Saved for a few years and splurged 2nd time around ... it was fun.
