Wake Up America
Are GMO's (genetically modified organisms) .. i.e. altered DNA plants such as soy, corn, beet sugar .. now the alfalfa being fed to farm animals making us sick .. and giving us allergic reactions? Is there some big cover-up between the USDA and mega corporations .. perhaps payoffs? I don't want to sound like Chicken Little .. but it's becoming more apparent as time passes that there is a skunk in the hen house .. and the government is turning a blind 'nose'. I think the Pide Piper is more like it. A melodic tune has captured the general public and turned them into robot zombies .. eating and consuming junk foods, processed foods, and not noticing the effects until they wake up one day with food allergies, type II diabetes, or a host of other maladies. There is a big cover-up going on. Start informing yourselves so you can, in turn, inform your families before it's too late. Oh wait .. it is too late! Pandora's Box has been opened and GMO crops are contaminating in mass force. The sky is falling .. literally!
Food for thought: Why do other nations around the world ban GMO's yet the USA allows them?

Indeed! They're messing with the food big time, with unknown consequences and it's unstoppable now. Scary stuff.
There is also some information on the net that suggests vaccines are implicated as the cause of peanut allergy.
We never heard of anyone with peanut allergy when I was growing up.
This subject touches a deep fear of mine (yet I have taken no steps to educate myself better or to figure out how to personally avoid GMO). I grudgingly admit to a laziness or feeling of helplessness. Do you have any "simple" or basic ways to at least protect ones self and loved ones????

I once read that in America of today one really cannot do reach on people who have not eaten gene manipulated corn. There aren't any left--
In Norway the government try to regain some control, but it hasn't been easy. So many multilateral agreements to consider.
Poor baby Jake,- He'll have to learn to look out for himself from an early stage. There are traces of peanuts in so many chocolate too.
God, watch over Grandson Jake in a particular way, protect him and heal him.

Rebecca .. I will do a post on things you can do to try and avoid gmo's .. but it involves a change in eating .. back to basics .. more home cooking .. and nothing processed. But it's a little like trying to stuff a genie back in the bottle ..
Oh you are absolutely right! There is
a huge cover-up going on-but why? And
why are we, the greatest country ever,
the only one that has not banned GMO's?
Questions must be answered. We try to
eat carefully, all from scratch cooking,
our own garden, no processed foods,
and pray over everything-even our pets
foods!

Sandy .. sounds like you are doing a good job considering the state of foods sold in the grocery stores.
Yes, the sky is falling and it is going to be quite the rude awakening when we all find out what the consequences of all these GMO crops really are. It will effect everyone of us, even those of us who try so hard not eat such foods if they can avoid it.
I am not bothered by them. We have been genetically modifying organisms since Adam and Eve.
Just curious (and not being critical) - did Jake get vaccines as an infant/young child? Many of the vaccines are suspended in peanut oil and there is some speculation that vaccines are contributing to the rise in allergies (egg and soy protein and many other things go into the different vaccines).
