Post Christmas Greetings

Ann and her beau
Jake and Ruby
The Mac family really raised the roof .. er 'ruff/meow' this Christmas.  There were nine of us (people) for Christmas Eve dinner at home followed by a candle light service at our church.  Our guest suite was occupied by our daughter, Elizabeth, and her family .. plus their two dogs.  The newly acquired kitty (that showed up at my back door during a snow storm 12/21) took refuge in the laundry room for two days.

Hold still Miss Kitty
Today is a day of recuperation.  Cleaning.  Getting creative with leftovers. Being thankful.  Purging some of the old to make room for the new.  Staying in jammies til noon.

The new year holds much promise with the upcoming birth of our newest grandson early April.

Snow fell Christmas Eve to blanket the area in a winter wonderland.  Christmas Day was mostly sunny.

What's up in your neck of the woods?

Mrs. Mac,

What a beautiful family, I love your Christmas pictures. Great attitude adjuster there!!!!
I love those cast iron pots, they make for some really good cooking, and of course adjusting attitudes, lol.

Bulldog Man, Dakota, and myself had a real quiet dinner. We're getting ready to head back down to my parents house to cut fallen trees from the storm and get ready for Dad to come home from the hospital.

Snowstorm here....I SHOULD be shopping for the meals I'll be preparing and carrying in for our large extended family Christmas gathering later this week. (Family starts arriving tomorrow afternoon!)

Your family times look SO happy. And congratulations on that new grandchild you're expecting.

Be safe & stay warm :)

Your Christmas sounds and looks like it was very nice, filled with love and joy.

Congrats on the next grandbaby.

It is warm and very windy here today as a cold front is coming, some rain is expected before the rain, we'll see if that happens or not. We need the rain.

Love and hugs to you ~ FlowerLady

I don't remember your youngest girl getting married. I think I see a wedding ring on her finger. Congratulations on the upcoming grandchild! How wonderful! Glad you all had a good Christmas and I think it's so great that you are able to be in church again.
Take care~

Dear Mrs. Mac,
I'm so glad to see that you all are doing so well and know that this Christmas has become another bead in the memory necklace of a happy home. What a foundation you are building, you wonderful, strong, intelligent, giving, skilled and caring mother, grandmother, wife ... and friend of mine.
May God bless you and yours for now ans ever on.

What a special kind of joy to have your family together to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Looks like everyone had a great time. Here in TN waiting with you for the first pics of that new little grandson! I as with my middle sister and their family on Christmas Day and had a wonderful celebration with them. I will be with my youngest sister and their family on this Friday evening. Life is good and jammies are GREAT!

Well fancy that. We await a new grandchild in May next Spring too. We are both awaiting grannies! Do let's keep in touch about it.
Your Christmas sounds and looks wonderful as it usually is with a large family. Mine came round yesterday minus eldest son and partner, who came the week before Christmas.
