2015 Garden Journey ~ Day 1

Raspberry canes thinned, topped and tied.

Fenced off raised beds tidied.

Back patio pressure washed and furniture uncovered.

Burning raspberry canes & yard stubble.
Although not out of the woods for frost, we are having a mild winter with little snow so got a jump start on spring yard cleanup.  Is your garden/landscape awakening or going to bed?

Once free from debt it's too hard to voluntarily be enslaved again. MY reward has come Since this old woman got in her rocker, I recently married another 'rocker' and we'll have the remainder of our rewards After that ends. You've had a good life. God is so good. Oh, and the yard cleanup, I enjoy it just as much as anything, don't you?!

Everything here is still under snow, but I have lots of seedlings growing under lights in my basement. Can't wait to move them out to the greenhouse and start some more!

Lucy Laiche .. thanks for stopping by :)

ElderberryWhine4u ~ I've put off starting the seedlings too long .. that's on the to-do list this week. Hopefully your snow won't melt all at once.

Its looking good, really like the seating around the fire. We just bought a new place in Clark Fork and put in our first fruit tree order for it.

Mrs. Mac,

Spring is in the air here. No more snow on the ground, and temperatures have warmed. We've already put lettuce seeds in the ground, and my onions are growing really nicely.

We've started cutting tires for the garden (growing potatoes in the tires) and working on fence replacement. Soon more seeds and seedlings will be planted in the ground. Even though spring is not official here, we are happy to see the weather changes.

Your garden beds look ready for seeds :-) and having a head start on spring outdoor cleaning is a good thing.
