Here's a peak into the garden. With the recent heat, everything has taken off.

Green beans, raspberries, lettuce, herbs, cabbage and peas are getting picked this week.

Next week more lettuce will get sowed.
The overwintered plants (geraniums, mint and rosemary) have bounced back in full bloom.

You have a beautiful garden. I can't get over how big your cabbage has grown. Everything is so green and beautiful. I know someone that will be extremely busy the next couple of weeks with harvests, canning and freezing. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the wedding and church outing.
There is nothing blooming in my garden. We're preparing the ground for a fall planting.

Cathy, I'm inspired by the beautiful pictures of your garden. Is it weird that I think your cabbage pictures are gorgeous? Reminiscent of Beatrice Potter, I think. I want to try to grow lettuce next year.

Like you, we badly needed some sunshine here in England. We have had a week of it now and the runner beans have developed lots of flowers. Little tomatoes have set, at last and the potatoes are almost ready for lifting. We had plenty of rain in the Spring and early summer and now we just need to keep that sun shining.
