Planning For New Year's Day

Another opportunity to gather as a family on New Year's Day.  Hoping to have everyone under one roof .. play board games, go sledding, sit by the fire sipping hot cocoa.  Homemade pizza and salad to grace the dinner table.  Relaxing .. memory making kind of day.  What's planned for your New Year welcome?

We're meeting my sister & her husband for dinner tonight. The hot tub and champagne looks like a grand idea!

I will be at home and alone, yet kept company by all the wonderful memories of past years and past joys and the knowledge that my best days lie ahead of me. Happy New Year to you and yours! I pray the day turns out exactly as you desire!

Sounds like a delightful day. Mine was spent quietly, puttering around my house with only my hubby for company...and fine company he is too. it was very nice...different but nice.
