Weekend Reading

sourdough pancakes
I've come across a few interesting sites today and wanted to share:

Inexpensive way to grow your own mushrooms

Homemade Rhubarb 'Champagne

Sourdough Pancakes

soupy weather with chilly nights
We've had quite a bit of rain this past week.  In between downpours, grass was cut, weeds mowed, garden beds covered and uncovered depending on night time temps.  The local mountains got a dusting of snow, and Mt. Spokane had 4 to 6 inches of snow a few nights ago.

Our dinners have included winter fare once again ... soups and stews

Here is a little video clip of my granddaughter  Rowan.  She's still recovering in the hospital from heart surgery.

Have a blessed weekend!

Oh, Cathy, I just watched that video clip of Rowan! How precious is she?! And obviously so loved. I'll keep praying. Thanks for sharing.

Mrs. Mac,
Thank you for sharing several sites you have found on recipes. Sounds like you've been extremely busy with the grass, gardens and weather.

I watched the video clip on You Tube of Rowan. You have several charming grand children :-)
Rowan is one strong precious little girl. God Bless her. We will keep Rowan in our prayers.

I love the ability we have now to capture moments. The You Tube clip is a great photo tribute and I hope something that Rowan will look back on years from now, God willing. I have faith and hope that it will still work out. I admire your keep on keeping on spirit too. All the best x
