Our Great Loss

My sweet Rowan passed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father at 3:12 PM this afternoon. God gave her a beautiful day for her home coming .. perfect blue skies .. and a beautiful sunset. My how one little gift from God changed so many lives. What a privilege it has been being her grandmother. My heart rejoices knowing that hers has been made whole.  Thank you to the many readers and friends that have been praying for our little heart warrior.  She was born with hypo-plastic left heart syndrome where the left side of her heart did not form properly.  Our family will see her once again in Heaven.
With love from the Mac Family
"In my Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you."
John 14:2

Oh, Mrs Mac - my deepest, deepest sympathy on the passing of your gorgeous, precious little granddaughter, Rowan.

God said "Suffer little children to come unto me" - not always easy, especially when it involves their precious physical bodies, but His plan is beyond our human comprehension.

My deepest condolences and prayers go out to you and your family, and to Rowan's grieving parents.

Dear Mrs. Mac,
His roads aren't our roads.
I know in whom I believe, but just now, I cannot say I understand Him.
Rowan from the YouTube not being here.
No, I have many questions about that, the day I do not have to gaze through a mirror darkly.
I will now, more than ever pray for your family, your earnest looking, loving grandson in particular.

Please accept my deepest sympathies, Cathy. I am so very sorry to hear this news, yet, at the same time, I know beautiful little Rowan is happier than we can imagine right now, healthy, and giving her loving smile to Jesus. He may even be holding her in His arms this moment.

Dear Mrs. Mac,
I am sorry for your loss, but I rejoice with you that Rowan is in the best place possible, and that you will see her again in God's time.

I first read about Rowan only today, on Lidia's blog, and I realized that we are neighbors in more than the blog world: I, too, live in northern Idaho, a little south of Sandpoint. I am pleased to meet you!

May God bless and comfort you and your family.

May the prayers of your friends ease your aching heart. I lost a child, too, but feel like watching my child lose one would be unbearable. The hope of heaven is a blessing those of us who know God have.

Mrs mac, I came across your blog this evening through Rhonda's Down to earth blog.

My Grandson Charlie has HLHS too - everyday with him is so special as we know what the outcome may be, I love him so much and all the hours we have spent with him in intensive care make you realise more and more how special these little ones are and how dedicated the doctors are that carry out the operations.

My heart goes out to you, because I truly do know how you must be feeling, even though I am miles away in the UK.

God bless you and you family xxxx
