Grandmas Stand Your Ground

"It's an uphill battle to keep the world at bay around our grandchildren.  I want to bubble wrap them for a few years and not expose them to the foolishness of a blatantly God-less society."

This is an excerpt from a 2018 post I made that was never published. Boy, could I drone on and on and pick right up on this topic five years after penning this statement.

the way the world has become the crowd who views "the Emperor's new Clothes" and comments on their workmanship and glory - yet the clothes are invisible and the Emperor is buck naked ... yet no one dares point that out ...

but to have kids/grandkids to teach in our current society ... well we need praying loved ones to stand in the gap ... until vision is restored!

Good analogy! Yes, right is wrong and wrong appears to be right ... but we know who holds us in the hallow of His hand, and clothes the sparrows and lilies ... and gave us sound minds - even when the world seems to have gone to the dark side.

Such a frightening world we live in. We have to do all we can to ground our kids and grands in Christ and trust Him to see them through what we cannot.
